TRIA is a family owned company based in Milan that started in the 1950’s. Since then, they have developed, and sold, tens of thousands of machines to the plastics industry. Sprung from a common desire to streamline production processes in the industry, CombiQ and TRIA have recently signed a cooperation agreement.
In recent years, CombiQ has worked with a number of global industrial companies to develop new innovative digital solutions that create business benefits within the industrial sector. This resonates well with TRIA’s vision of being the leading supplier of machines for material recycling in plastics production. Therefore, it’s been a natural step for TRIA to collaborate with CombiQ to develop a solution to connect their products to a web service where data collected from the machines are turned into insights on how well the production operates. CombiQ has contributed the smart sensor technology for data collection and the foundational platform to the web service, Tcloud.

Through Tcloud, TRIA’s customers get a completely unique digital solution that will be used to streamline maintenance and minimize operational disruptions in their production. The solution works both on new machines and can be easily retrofitted on machines in production.
